Guide to Product Certifications

The following symbols denote the legal and electrical safety compliance of our products for sale, installation and usage in various jurisdictions worldwide. Applicable certification marks can be found on the technical tab of each product.

CE Mark PNG

The CE mark is a mandatory conformity marking for certain products - including light fixtures - sold within the European Economic Area (EEA) and indicates the compliance with EU legislation of a product. It's also found on products that are manufactured in the EEA but sold outside the EEA and is therefore an internationally recognisable symbol of compliance to EU legislation regarding product safety, health, quality and environmental protection. It is similar to the FCC Declaration of Conformity used on certain electronic goods sold in the United States.

UL Mark PNG
The UL mark is a globally recognised safety certification issued by the American non-profit company Underwriters Laboratories. UL is one of several companies approved to perform safety testing by the U.S. federal agency Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This symbol indicates conformity of electrical goods with USA safety standards and is a requirement for electronically controlled products that are used and traded within the USA.
